If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase of any item (excluding special order items, demo items, floor model items, redemption equipment and sports games) Monkeys Arcades will issue you a full refund of the purchase price less a 20% restocking fee and less shipping fees to and from your home.  For items with free shipping, actual inbound and outbound shipping fees will be deducted from your total refund amount.   New items must be unopened, in brand new condition and in all original packaging. Used and pre-played items must be returned in unused condition in all original packaging that the item was sent in.  Items that are damaged in transit can not be returned under this policy.  Please see our "Delivery Inspection" section below for more details on returns of damaged items. All items that are eligible for our 30 day return policy must be returned to us and inside our store or warehouse within 30 days  from the date of product delivery as shown on your Bill of Lading.  You must call the store to obtain an RMA before returning any products. In certain circumstances, the 30 day return policy may be extended will approval from an associate at Monkeys Arcades. Please call us for assistance to arrange return shipping on any products.  Feel free to call the store if you are unsure of which products are covered under this warranty.

Defective Products

New items deemed to be defective will be replaced or repaired under the original manufacturers’ warranties.  Defective parts or products must be returned before replacement parts or products are shipped out.  Monkeys Arcades will assist you in obtaining phone numbers and reaching the manufacturers technical support staff.  Defective items can not be returned after 60 days.   Used products are sold as is and guaranteed to be working upon shipment.



Delivery Inspection

You must thoroughly inspect all of your packages before accepting delivery. If your package is significantly damaged or if cartons are missing you should not accept the delivery without contacting us first.  If you refuse delivery, you must note on your shipping receipt refusal due to damaged contents and a detailed description of the damage.  If there is any visible damage that you believe is minor, you must write on your shipping receipt (B.O.L) a detailed description of the damage, exactly where the damage is and the words 'SUBJECT TO FURTHER INSPECTION'. If the driver does not allow you to sign the delivery receipt in the above mentioned procedures, sign "Refusal of Delivery Due to Damage" and call us. All damage must be reported to Monkeys Arcades within 2 days of receipt of merchandise. If your item(s) are damaged during transit and damage to the package is not noted on the shipping receipt (bill of lading) as described above, Monkeys Arcades will not return, exchange or reimburse any portion of the sale.  It is the customers responsibility to file all claims with the shipping company.  Monkeys will assist in obtaining any necessary information that may be needed in the claims process.


Other Returns And Exchanges

Items can not be returned because of shipping delays which are often out of our control, unless a delivery date was guaranteed in writing by an associate at Monkeys Arcades.  Also, items can not be returned if they do not fit in your desired location.  Many items in our store are large and over-sized and it is the responsibility of the end user to make the proper measurements.  Dimensions for most items are listed under the "technical specs" section of each product listing.   Please call for measurements on items where dimensions are not listed.  Please call the store before purchasing any item of which you are unsure about the return policy.  Other returns and exchanges can be made on a case by case basis with written approval of a Monkeys Arcades associate.  If an item is returned Monkeys can arrange return shipping, or the customer may do so themselves.  If you arrange your own return shipping, the item(s) should be properly packaged and insured for it's full purchase price.  If any damage is incurred on a return shipment and you have arranged your own freight, the merchandise will be refused and you will be responsible to arrange your own freight claim.  No refunds will be processed until the merchandise is received, inspected and serial numbers are verified.

Used Game Warranties:

All used games are sold as is with no warranties expressed or implied unless otherwise noted.   Technicians thoroughly inspect and test each machine before shipment.  They are guaranteed to be working upon shipment.  Used machines also may have minor cosmetic imperfections as well.   After the machine leaves our warehouse we are not responsible for any damage or repairs unless the appropriate damage is noted on the bill of lading.  Once the damage is verified, we will file a damage claim with the carrier.  Standard claim processing time in the freight industry is 30-90 days from the date the claim is filed.  If approved by the carrier, repairs and or exchanges will be processed.  In the event a machine arrives in non-working condition, please call us as we will do our best to diagnose the problem via technical phone support. 

Original Manufacturer Warranty:

If it is determined that an item is covered under warranty, the defective parts or products must be returned before replacement parts or products are shipped out.

All new games and products purchased from Monkeys Arcades come with the Original Manufacturer Warranty.  New games and products purchased with no additional warranties are limited to only the Original Manufacturer Warranty.  No other warranties are expressed or implied.  Manufacturer warranties are as follows:

1 Year Limited Warranty:

1 Year Limited Warranties are available on many products at Monkeys Arcades.  The warranty period starts the date of product delivery.  Warranty is only available for games and machines that are home use only.  Games found to be used commercially will be void of all warranties.  Any game that purchased with an optional bill or coin acceptor is void of all warranties.  During the 1 year period, all games and products will be repaired through the Original Manufacturer Warranty when applicable. This warranty covers technical diagnosis via phone support (when possible), all original non-moving parts and any time and labor to repair parts that are shipped or brought back to Monkeys Arcades.  Customers are responsible for all shipping charges.  It is also the responsibility of the customer to track and insure any part or game that is being shipped to Monkeys Arcades. Parts will be deemed defective and warranted only after a telephone diagnosis with a Monkeys Arcades technician or after an in-home service is done by an approved Monkeys Arcades technician at the customer’s expense.  No other warranties are expressed or implied.

 

2 Year Limited Warranty:

2 Year Limited Parts Warranties are also available on many products at Monkeys Arcades.  The warranty period will be 2 years from the date of product delivery.  Warranty is only available for games and machines that are home use only.  Games found to be used commercially will be void of all warranties. Any game that purchased with an optional bill or coin acceptor is void of all warranties.  This warranty covers: pinball machine displays, bumpers and flippers / game monitors, displays, track-balls, buttons, steering wheels and joysticks / jukebox electronics and amplifiers / air hockey electronics and blowers / screens for all Merit and JVL machines / power supplies / amplifiers / fuses / coin acceptors / power cords, and most electronic circuit boards up to $3000.00.  This warranty also covers technical diagnosis via phone support (when possible) and any time and labor to repair parts that are shipped or brought back to Monkeys Arcades. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges.  It is also the responsibility of the customer to track and insure any part or game that is being shipped to Monkeys Arcades. 1. Game is abused or misused in any way
2. Game is dropped or knocked over
3. Game is repaired by anyone other than a technician approved by Monkeys Arcades
4. Game is used in a commercial environment
5. Game is placed in direct sunlight or outdoors
6. Game is damaged due to water or flooding
7. Game is moved from its original location
8. Game is altered or changed in any way

 

Warranty does not cover shipping damage, improper use, failure to follow instructions, improper installation / maintenance, , accidental damage, any damage caused by excessive heat or humidity, any damage caused by storms, lightning or excessive voltage, or any game that is purchased with an optional bill or coin acceptor.
